Eco Friendly & Recyclable Cosmetic Tube Filling
We offer a variety of environmentally friendly tube filling options using our state-of-the-art tube filling machine. From 10ml to 150ml, our tubes are available in a range of sizes and materials including PE, PCR, sugarcane and aluminium – each with its own environmental benefit.
Here are some of the eco-friendly tube packaging materials we can offer.
- PE (Polyethylene) – easily recycled with most councils at kerbside alongside other household waste.
- PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) – as it says on the tin (or tube!) this plastic is made using a percentage of recycled plastic. It can then be easily recycled once empty!
- Sugarcane – this is not literally sugarcane, but a virgin plastic derived from it. Rather than using limited oil reserves for plastic production, here the same product is made using waste from the sugar industry!
- Wood – yes, wood! We offer a wooden flexible tube made from 95% renewable sources. It even offers a 40% reduction in carbon footprint over the convention PE tube.
- Aluminium – aluminium is infinitely recyclable, meaning it doesn’t lose its quality when recycled unlike plastic which has a limited recycling loop. Recycling aluminium saves more than 90% of the energy needed to make new aluminium.
